PA: Israel implementing a 'bi-national state'
The Palestinian Authority government in Ramallah, headed by Rami Hamdallah, in its weekly meeting on Tuesday expressed support for a two-state solution based on the establishment of a Palestinian state with its capital in Jerusalem within the pre-1967 borders.
The Palestinian government in the statement also praised the European Union for its support for the Palestinian population in Area C, warned against calls by "radical" Jewish groups to "break into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, hold religious ceremonies, defile and desecrate it", and condemned the decision of the Jerusalem Municipality to establish "Jewish facilities" at the Western Wall as "a blatant violation of an Islamic site."
