Cheetta is a 2012 Malayalam film produced by New Surya Films and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film marks the debut of Ram Charan Teja, son of the popular Telugu actor Chiranjeevi, in the lead role. Delhi-based model Neha Sharma plays the female lead. The film also features a soundtrack by Mani Sharma. Chirutha was released worldwide on 28 September 2007. The film was dubbed into Tamil as Siruthai Puli. On 14 September 2012 the movie was released in the Malayalam dubbed version named Cheetah. It is being remade in Bengali as Rongbaaz with Dev and Koel in the lead. Remake in Hindi and Tamil with Dhanush and Amrita Puri.
