Venezuela: Maduro Meets with International Observers

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro met with former heads of state from Spain, Colombia, Bolivia and Costa Rica, who will serve as electoral observers in Sunday’s parliamentary elections. The meeting took place just before the elections today in Venezuela with former heads of state of Spain, Colombia, Bolivia and Costa Rica. The former Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero told Maduro that despite rocky relations between the two countries in the past, he expects relations between the two countries to improve. Former Bolivian President Juan Quiroga expressed his hopes for a democratic, peaceful election. teleSUR
