The ZTE Axon Elite is a dual-SIM premium mobile similar in most hardware specs as that of the original ZTE Axon. The Axon Elite features a slightly lower resolution display sporting a full HD display as opposed to the qHD display seen on the original Axon. However, the Elite variant comes with an array of security features such as eye scanners, voice recognition and fingerprint sensors.

The device comes with a 13-megapixel primary shooter which is accompanied by another 2-megapixel lens at the rear. The duo are put together to capture images which can later be tinkered with to change the point of focus. In addition, the rear shooter also comes with LED flash to capture the right images in all conditions. The device comes with an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The device sports a full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) 5.5-inch LCD IPS display. The beautiful display is surrounded by a rather narrow bezel, ensuring that the phone doesn t sport a very large form factor. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset which comes with 3 GB of RAM which is accompanied by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor. The device can churn out impeccable performance and ensures flawless performance of the device irrespective of the number of applications running simultaneously.

The device ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box and is available in just one colour option, ion gold. At the back of the device sits a non-removable Li-Po battery having a capacity of 3,000 mAh. The battery is rated to keep the device ticking for an entire day but might not be able to survive the day if subjected to rigorous use. The dual-SIM smartphone comes with the usual array of connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. The device comes with 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB via an external microSD card.
