Astronomers using NASA’s Hubble and Spitzer telescopes have spotted a faint galaxy that is both far away and from long ago.

Astronomers using NASA’s Hubble and Spitzer telescopes have spotted a faint galaxy that is both far away and from long ago. 
They believe the barely perceptible light dates back some 13.8 billion years. 
NASA wrote of the find, “… this object represents a smaller, fainter class of newly-forming galaxies that until now have largely evaded detection. These very dim objects may be more representative of the early universe, and offer new insight on the formation and evolution of the first galaxies.” 
While the truly powerful telescopes get most of the credit for the find, it did have some help.
