Black Lives Matter occupy Minneapolis City Hall rotunda during rally
  • 8 years ago
Around 300 protesters filled Minneapolis City Hall rotunda on Thursday after police dispersed the sit-in protest outside a police headquarters building in the city.

It followed a rally against the police dismantling of the encampment and to demand more answers about the police shooting of Jamar Clark.

The 18-day Black Lives Matter-organised occupy protest led to a federal investigation, but was broken up this week.
