Virender Sehwag was felicitated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at his home ground Feroz Shah Kotla today before the start of the fourth and final Test between India and South Africa. BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur was present at the ceremony and so was Sehwag's family. The two ends of Kotla stadium were named Viru 319 and Viru 309 in honour of Sehwag's triple tons.

In Virender Sehwag felicitation speech, he thanked his former India captains Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble along with iconic Sachin Tendulkar for their guidance during his illustrious international career.
