Leonardo DiCaprio raped by a bear in new film, says Drudge Report. Not true

HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA — "The bear flips Leo over and thrusts and thrusts during the explicit mauling. He is raped — twice!" That was how the Drudge Report described scenes in the new survivalist movie The Revenant with Leonardo DiCaprio. The film, set for a December 2015 release, is based on a 2002 novel of the same name that was inspired by the life of frontiersmen Hugh Glass.

Although a bear is prominently featured in the story, people who actually attended the early screening of the new 20th Century Fox movie said there were absolutely no sexual overtones to scenes involving Leonardo DiCaprio's character and a wild bear.

It's unknown how the Drudge Report came to this interpretation, with the blogger also saying that some in the audience "escaped to the exits when the Wolf of Wall Street met the grizzly of Yellowstone." Again, any audience members fleeing was denied by those who attended the screening.

The Drudge Report's article alludes disapprovingly to Hollywood attempts to create maximum controversy so as to increase "buzz" for a film. Drudge notes the movie "reaches new violent levels for a mainstream film."

But violent or not, scenes involving forced bear bestiality do not appear in the movie The Revenant, according to many who have seen it and the movie company itself.

Watch it and decide for yourself … if you can bear it.
