Hundreds of starving koalas are being relocated in Australia
  • 8 years ago
Around 400 koalas are being moved along Australia's Great Ocean Road in an attempt to manage overpopulation. Victoria's Cape Otway doesn’t have enough food to meet the huge spike in their Koala population. The koalas are being driven around two hours down the road to the Great Otway forest. The female koalas have been sterilized to prevent another population spike. [Additional reporting by The Associated Press]
