EUA: Protesters Demand End to Gun Violence
  • 8 years ago
The recent shooting in a Planned Parenthood Center in Colorado Springs left three citizens dead and another nine injured. This shooting makes 308 mass shootings in the United States this year alone. After the Colorado shootings, members of the organization We the People for Sensible Gun Laws demonstrated once more outside the White House to demand stricter laws. They especially point to the responsibility of Republican politicians, the arms industry and the gun lobby in promoting easy access to weapons. President Barack Obama made a speech demanding that something be done to restrict such access. Bianca Perez reports from Washington for teleSUR.
