Mexico: 14 Months Later, Ayotzinapa Case Far from Settled
  • 8 years ago
Yesterday marked the 14 month anniversary of the enforced disappearance of the 43 Ayotzinapa students. Their relatives and social activists marched in Mexico City to the presidential residence to demand that new lines of investigation be opened in the case. They also charged authorities with a smear campaign against the protest movement and the independent expert investigation. At the end of the march, protesters began an indefinite sit-in at the presidential residence to press their demands. Clayton Conn reports from Mexico City. teleSUR
