Disney has released the first trailer for the highly anticipated Marvel Studios sequel Captain America: Civil War.
Directed Joe and Anthony Russo , the first film of Marvel's Phase Three slate picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off as Chris Evans' Steve Rogers leads a new team of Avengers.
After another international incident involving the superpowered team results in collateral damage, the government and former Avengers member Tony Stark begins to meddle with their practices, all the while a new villainous threat looms.
It's clear that with this first teaser trailer, Marvel wanted to get across that this is first and foremost a Captain America movie despite the overstuffed cast.
And they do a swell job of setting this up as a continuation of both Age of Ultron and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
