Chile: State Workers on Strike / Operation Condor Remembered

Around 500,000 state workers in Chile have declared a strike to win a higher wage and better working conditions. The government announced a raise of 4%, yet inflation has been more than 4% for the past year. Meanwhile, in Santiago the Museum of Memory is commemorating the infamous Operation Condor with a photo exhibit and a book of personal stories told by relatives of Chilean victims of international state terror. teleSUR
