Colombia: Cuban and African Migrants Detained

Colombian authorities have detained 13 Cuban migrants and 14 African migrants who were apparently on their way to Panama, where many have made a dangerous trek through the mountains in an attempt to reach the United States. The increase in Cuban migrants may be due to expected changes in United States immigration policy as part of the ongoing normalization process. According to Colombian statistics, 564 migrants have been detained in 2015. teleSUR
