Lazarati rezulton te jete një fabrike e vërtete e prodhimit te hashashit edhe këtë vit, duke prodhuar sasi rekord te kanabisit, me vlera qe kalojnë edhe buxhetin vjetor te vendit. Drejtori i repartit te aviacionit te Guardia di Financave, Stefano Bastoni tha ne nje konference te përbashkët për shtyp me kreun e policisë shqiptare Hysni Burgaj, se droga e dale nga Lazarati arrin deri ne 900 ton, me vlere ne treg afro 4.5 miliardë euro. Monitorimi nga ajri ka përcaktuar edhe hartën e kultivimit te hashashit ne gjithë territorin. Vlora, Shkodra e Gjirokastra, por edhe Tirana dhe Durrësi mbeten qarqet me problematike. Drejtori i përgjithshëm i policisë se shtetit Hysni Burgaj, tha se operacioni i nisur ne qershor, do te vazhdoje deri ne shtator me zbulimin dhe asgjësimin e lendes narkotike. Edhe ne te shkuarën, policia shqiptare, ne bashkëpunim me autoritetet italiane, kane realizuar kryesisht gjate periudhës se verës operacione te tilla, por këto nuk kane ndihmuar për ta nxjerre Shqipërinë nga harta e kultivuesve te kanabisit ne Europe, pasi sipas raporteve te ndërkombëtareve, mbetemi ne vend te dyte ne kontinent, pas Holandës.
