Brussels to remain on high alert: schools, metros to stay shut

Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel says Brussels’ terror alert status is to remain at the highest level.
During an announcement on Sunday evening, he said the Belgian capital’s schools would be closed on Monday and added:
“The threat is considered to be the same as yesterday: serious and imminent. We’re continuing to focus particular attention on the public transport system and I confirm that the decision has been made to keep the metro closed on Monday.”
Michel also announced that he would also seek to reduce events attracting large crowds, due to a threat of “coordinated, multiple attacks.”
The rest of Belgium will remain on a threat level of three, on the four-tier scale.
