Although few in number, a group of Syrians living in Albania protested this Saturday against the massacre that is happening in their country for more than a year. Placed in the path of the embassies in Tirana in front of the office of the United Nations, they are supported by the Albanian citizens, civil society representatives and journalists. With banners with the image of Syrian President Bashar Al Assad was painted red to symbolize the blood, they have sought the intervention of the United Nations to end this war. Organiser Ajla Nuha, a Syrian living in Albania since 8 years indicates that despite calls for more participation response has been lukewarm. In fact, a protest such as in Bangladesh, was held this October 20 anywhere in the world from the Syrian immigrant community.
