Steven Gerrard Caught On CCTV Appearing To Punch Man In Street Brawl
When you wake up on a Sunday morning to hear that Steven Gerrard has punched someone in a street brawl, you may want to rub your eyes and question everyone and everything but no, this has actually happened.
The former Liverpool midfielder has been well and truly stitched up by The Sun after these exclusive scenes on their website went viral. Note: The footage was recorded on August 4, 2013 in Liverpool.
The street brawl happened outside a bar back in 2013 and the incident went to court, but Gerrard wasn't charged. However The Sun today report that they have “obtained CCTV of the incident – which was not shown at a subsequent court trial where Gerrard was portrayed by prosecutors as a peacemaker.”
