Shqipëria mbulon me prodhimin e karburantit 40% te nevojave te tregut ballkanik, por kjo sasi shkon për eksport, duke shtyre drejt importit bizneset ne këtë fushe. Nëse do te referoheshim faqes se CIA-s qe jep një tablo te ekonomive ne mbare boten, vihet re se vendi ynë ka rezerva nafte ne masën 199.1 milionë fuçi ne dite, ndërkohe qe importon ne dite 22.880 fuçi. Duke pare këtë mundësi rezervash vendase për karburant, drejtuesit e dhomës se tregtisë hedhin idenë e një strategjie te re rregulluese te këtij tregu ne Shqipëri. Për tre dite me radhe situata ne pikat e tregtimit te karburanteve mbetet e njëjte. Nafta ka arritur ne shifrën e 199 leke për një litër, ndërsa benzina me shume se 200. Këto shifra janë edhe rekordi i këtyre viteve te fundit ne tregtimin e karburantit ne Shqipëri.
