Me sloganin "Tirana evropiane" Bashkia e kryeqytetit ka nisur festimet për 92-vjetorin e shpalljes se Tiranes kryeqendra e vendit. Ceremonia është shfrytëzuar nga kryeministri Sali Berisha për te theksuar rëndësinë e qytetit te Tiranes ne historinë e Shqipërisë pa harruar te vlerësoje punën e Lulzim Bashes ne krye te Bashkise. Anëtarët socialiste te Këshillit Bashkiak kane preferuar te festojnë me vete këtë përvjetor, duke nderuar një prej familjeve te vjetra tiranase, familjen Rreli. Ndërsa i ka dhuruar një flamur, kreu i këshilltarëve socialiste Aldrin Dalipi ka ftuar te gjithë shqiptaret qe te vendosin një flamur ne shtëpitë e tyre me rastin e 100-vjetorit te Pavarësisë. Nuk është surprize qe maxhoranca dhe opozita e festuan te ndare përvjetorin e Tiranes kryeqytet, pasi edhe për festimet e 100-vjetorit te pavarësisë te dy kampet politike kane deklaruar axhenda te ndryshme.
