The most renowned name in Cuban athletics is Alberto Juantorena. Known as the “elegant runner” of the speedways, he won both the 400 and 800 m Olympic titles in 1976 and since retiring from the track in 1984, has worked to develop sports in Cuba. He is now the Vice President of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF). At the national stadium, where he is helping young athletes to get ready for next summer's Olympic Games in Brazil, our host Cristina Fernandez speaks with one of the most popular men in Cuba about his experiences, ideas and advice to children and youth. teleSUR
