Eagles of Death Metal speak out after Paris attacks: 'Love overshadows evil'
Five days after the terrorist attacks that killed at least 129 people in Paris - including dozens at the Bataclan concert hall - Eagles of Death Metal, the American band playing the Bataclan when the siege began, issued a statement about the attacks via Facebook.
"While the band is now home safe, we are horrified and still trying to come to terms with what happened in France," the band writes.
They pay tribute to four members of the music industry who were killed at the Bataclan - including merchandise manager Nick Alexander, Universal exec Thomas Ayad, Marie Mosser and Manu Perez.
They also thank authorities, including the French Police and the FBI, for the work they've done during and since the attacks.
The band was performing on stage when the attackers stormed the Bataclan Friday night.
An Instagram video showed the stunned musicians as the first shots rang out.
The band then reportedly managed to escape offstage.
