Space Junk's Re-Entry Captured On Video
A team of astronomers have captured video and still images of space debris called WT1190F re-entering the Earth’s atmosphere above Sri Lanka.

The space debris that re-entered Earth’s atmosphere today was caught on video.
Named WT1190F, the object is thought to have been part of a rocket--perhaps an old fuel tank.
After years in space, it descended into Earth at a speed of about 24,000 miles an hour on Friday in Sri Lanka.
Space agencies sent out a joint crew of astronomers in a plane to document the event while flying
