Giant alligator on the loose menaces shoppers at Texas mall
  • 8 years ago
SUGAR LAND, TEXAS — An 800-pound alligator was found roaming outside a mall in Sugar Land near Houston on Saturday, a beast so large, locals have dubbed it "Godzilla".

According to reports, it may have meandered over to the mall from a nearby creek, say locals—but nobody actually knows.

Christy Kroboth, a state licensed "nuisance alligator trapper" was called in to help subdue the monster and prevent it from doing any harm.

Kroboth draped a towel over its face and muzzled him using lots of pink tape. Godzilla was then forklifted onto a truck.

Blind in one eye, and only having partial sight in the other, the giant 'gator will be spending the rest of his days in a wildlife reserve.
