College Football Ref Tells Central Michigan Band & Cheerleaders to Shut Up

Knocking on the door of an upset win, the Central Michigan Chippewas crowd got too raucous for the referees' liking. With the Toledo Rockets in the red zone and looking to add to their 21-17 lead, an official interrupted play to tell the UCM band and cheerleaders not to leverage their home-field advantage so the visitors could hear their own snap count. The referee claimed the CMU cheerers were trying to hinder Toledo’s snap count and ordered that the teams replay the down.
