Peacocks Are Becoming Less Popular With Zoos

The Washington Post reports that the numbers of peacocks at zoos seem to be dwindling; while there may be no specific reason for some places, others attribute to the decline to high-maintenance issues and occasional aggressive behavior.

Peacocks may look beautiful with their jewel-colored feathers, but their numbers seem to be declining at zoos around the U.S., according to the Washington Post. 
The National Zoo previously had many uncaged peacocks walking around, but currently only have three and the spokeswoman did not know the reason.
