A dramatic video has emerged of a man falling off a cliff while attempting to land a 'switch 180' in Mount Buller, Australia.

The footage, shot with a drone earlier this year, shows Luc Hilton-Wood approaching the cliff backwards and losing his footing before falling off.

"I'm the skier that crashed, Luc, and my dad is the one flying the drone filming me die haha," the filmer later wrote online.
