Civil War reenactments often involve a fair amount of firearms, but typically they are not filled with live ammunition.
However, on Friday, Gary Alen Lane of McIntosh County, Oklahoma, showed up at such an event toting a sawed-off shotgun loaded with real rounds.
Further, he was drunk at the time, according to WFTV.
Lane fired the weapon into a tent where several of the players involved in the Battle of Honey Spring recreation were congregating.
