Man catches guilty pug eating coffee from food compost

Cute footage has emerged from Canada of a man catching his rather guilty-looking dog eating out of a compost pile.

In the video, filmed on Friday, the man catches his dog in the act in the kitchen and proceeds to jokingly tell the pug off.

The dog genuinely appears to understand the owner and very much has its tail between its legs.

The filmer later wrote online: "I know my dog has been eating from the compost… I have just never been able to catch him in the act, until today."
