Latam Meets Ahead of COP21 to Hammer Out Common Agenda

Leaders of Latin American and the Caribbean met in Quito, Ecuador today to work out a common regional agenda ahead of the COP21 Climate Change conference slated for Paris from November 30-December 11. The goal of the regional meeting is to seek a legally binding agreement to oblige developed countries to assume their ecological debt, in part through providing technological resources to enable the developing nations to address the effects of climate change. teleSUR
