Grave Robber: Man grinds skulls into powder to cure mental ailments

JIANGXI PROVINCE, CHINA — Police in China arrested a man for robbing graves in his local area.
The man confessed to robbing the graves to steal the skulls of dead women. He said his daughter was mentally disabled, possibly by schizophrenia, and a quack doctor had told him that the skull caps from female skulls could cure mental diseases.
The man has been robbing graves of women for several months. He would grind the skulls into powder and then add water to it the mixture. He did admit that his daughter’s mental state had not improved despite the increase in her calcium intake.
Maybe his problem was that the skull caps weren’t fresh enough?
