In Romania, a soccer coach was caught repeatedly kicking one of his players on the sidelines during an under-17 game. CSMS Iasi coach Liviu Petrache took his foot to the head and upper body of player Codrin Tirisca while the 16-year-old watched the contest from the bench. Gazeta Sporturilor reports that Petrache has since been fired and that the incident will be investigated by the Romanian Football Federation.
