Playing up hudud during GE was a mistake

The MCA Youth chief concludes that the Islamic criminal law had never been a concern for the Chinese community.
PETALING JAYA: As the 13th general election drew nearer, MCA pulled out all the stops to "enlighten" voters how a vote for DAP would result in a justice system where severed hands, stoning to death and flogging reigned supreme.
But despite the money poured in to hammer home the point that "DAP is PAS" and "A vote for DAP is a vote for hudud", MCA was almost entirely wiped out -- managing to win only 19 out of the 127 Parliament and state seats it contested.
