Medea (1970) by Pier Paolo Pasolini who conveys the Euripides's Medea's plot as true visual myth not as a play adaptation but as cinematic master & a poet in an attempt to translate into film the sense of a prehistoric time, place in which all myths and rituals were real life experience and according Pasolini's conception, Medea played by Callas as a primeval soul .
