End of one-child policy in China, more leeway for EU carmakers and third Republican debate (part 2)

China's Communist Party ends the one-child policy. It was no big surprise, with an ageing population and slowing economic growth. Women are now allowed two children, but do they want to have more offspring? An outcry over Volkswagen diesel emissions has raised environmental concerns. But as far as complying with emissions standards goes, Germany has convinced the 28 to phase in compliance over the next decade. And we look at the third Republican debate held this week in Colorado.
