The HyperCam uses hyperspectral imaging to show users hidden details beneath the surface of objects. While the technology itself isn't new, this is the first time it's been harnessed for possible consumer use.

Researchers have developed a camera that can see things not visible to the naked eye, like the insides of fruit and the intricacies of veins beneath human skin.
It's called the HyperCam and using various wavelengths of light, it's able to produce images that show hidden details beneath an object’s surface.
In fact, the HyperCam produces 17 different images.
But that's considered a bit tedious and certainly not consumer-friendly, so the researchers also developed software that evaluates those images and offers a few choice se
