Int'l Criminal Court Will Not Investigate Honduran Coup

The International Criminal Court (ICC) of The Hague will not investigate the 2009 coup that ousted democratically elected Honduran president Manuel Zelaya. The ICC ruled that the offenses committed in the wake of the coup do not constitute crimes against humanity as they do not represent a policy of attacking the civilian population and therefore the court lacks jurisdiction to hear the case. teleSUR
