Cuba Hails U.N. Vote Condemning Blockade

Cuba welcomed the U.N. General Assembly's overwhelming vote condemning Washington's blockade of the island. Yesterday's non-binding resolution was adopted 191-2. The U.S. ambassador said the resolution did not reflect the recent spirit of cooperation promoted by President Barack Obama. Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez called on Washington to abide by international law and heed the consensus of the international community. teleSUR
