As the protest over beef continues in the national capital, Aam Aadmi Party leaders Ashutosh and Sanjay Singh joined the Kerala MPs protesting outside the Kerala guest house a day after the Delhi Police entered the premises on a compaint that it serves beef. The parliamentarians carried placards which termed the police action an attack on Kerala House and condemned the act. "The Delhi police commissioner should be sacked immediately because this is the first time the police has been used to destroy the federal structure of the constitution," AAP leader Ashutosh told TIMES NOW. He further added that the Kerala House is an extension of the Kerala Secretariat and the Delhi police should have taken the permission of the authorities before entering the state guest house. A political row also broke out over the police action with Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy condemning the "visit" as "unfortunate". He was also backed by his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal who said the police action was an "attack on the federal structure", a charge rejected by BJP.
