Haitian Elections Could Help Stabilize Country

Haiti's five million registered voters are heading to the polls to chose among 54 presidential candidates. Also up for grabs are parliament and city and town mayors. If the vote proceeds smoothly, it will be the third consecutive election without massive fraud or armed rebellion. The two leading contenders are Jude Celestin and Jovenel Moise, the favorite of outgoing President Michel Martelly. teleSUR
