Bill Clinton to land in Israel Sunday to attend official Rabin ceremony

Former US President Bill Clinton is expected land in Israel this week to attend the official ceremony to commemorate 20 years since the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, official sources confirmed to i24News.
Clinton is scheduled to participate in Saturday evening's memorial rally in central Tel Aviv.
The first official state ceremony will take place at the President's House in Jerusalem.
The state commemoration ceremonies go by the Jewish calendar, and therefore precede November 5, the day Rabin led a peace demonstration at the square that was later named after him.
Clinton and Rabin were indeed close friends.
Some described the relationship between the Israeli prime minister and the American President, who was a generation younger, as a "father- son" kind of rapport.
