Front for Victory candidate in Sunday's Argentine presidential elections, Daniel Scoli, is comfortably ahead in the polls, but needs to top 40% of the vote with a 10-point advantage over his nearest competitor to avoid a run-off. Campaigning is now officially over. Voters were presented with sharply counterposed concerns and proposals in a campaign that many considered dirty and vicious.
