Assad in Moscow: Warm embrace or kiss of death? (part 1)

Three weeks after catching the West off guard with a bombing campaign in Syria, President Putin got Bashar Al Assad to make his first trip abroad since the uprising began. Friday, the Russian foreign minister will meet his counterparts from Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United States. Is a political solution actually possible?
