We went to the Milano Montagna trade show to watch the premiere of SMOG2015, a documentary made by the Italian filmmakers Richard Felderer and Pietro Porro. We talked to the subject of this back-to-the-roots film, Paolo Marazzi – an Arc'teryx and Specialized athlete – who told us he didn’t do anything special, he just took his bike and went skiing exactly as his grandfather did back in the '30s. His unique approach illustrates the elegance of telemark skiing and the beauty of the mountains and landscapes around Livigno. Although Paolo claims his style is nothing special, once you watch Smog2015 you might think differently. Smog2015 will be available soon on EpicTV.

Siamo stati a MilanoMontagna per assistere alla prima del documentario SMOG2015, realizzato dai filmmaker italiani Richard Felderer e Pietro Porro, che presto potrai vedere qui su EpicTV. Abbiamo fatto due chiacchiere con Paolo Marazzi, atleta ufficiale Arcteryx e Specialized, che é il protagonista di questo ritorno alle origini. Paolo dice di non aver fatto nulla di speciale, di aver semplicemente preso la sua bicicletta e con quella essere andato a sciare, proprio come suo nonno faceva negli anni '30. Tutto questo esaltato dall'eleganza del telemark e dagli splendidi paesaggi delle montagne attorno a Livigno. Forse per Paolo non sarà nulla di speciale, ma Smog2015 ci racconta tutta un'altra storia.
