Woh Humsafar Tha (Urdu: وہ ہم سفر تھا‎, ‘Wuh ham-safar tha’ lit. He was (my) co-journeyer) is an Urdu language Pakistani song from the serial Humsafar aired on Hum TV. It was composed by Waqar Ali and sung by Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch. It stars Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, and Naveen Waqar.[1][2] Upon the release, the song topped charts worldwide and captured a positive reviews from both critics and audience.[3] The song was also a hit in India when Humsafar was broadcast there.
It was written by Naseer Turabi in 1971 after the fall of Dhaka. The lines of the song are frequently used during the course of the show. It was composed by Waqar Ali and sung by Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch. It starer Fawad Afzal Khan, Mahira Khan and Naveen Waqar.
In 2012, Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch won two Lux Style Awards at 11th Lux Style Awards for Woh Humsafar Tha.
