Syria: Russian Fighter Jets Came Close to U.S. Planes

As many as 45 opposition fighters were killed by Russian and Syrian airstrikes on Monday evening in the mountain area of northeastern Syria. Those killed had received military support from the United States, including U.S. made anti-tank rockets. A U. S. official has revealed that Russian Fighter Jets came very close to U.S. planes in two separate incidents over Syria. Officials say that there were no hostile moves on either side and that there was no indication of hostile intent. On the ground, Syria has made significant advances with Russian air cover.
