Mexican Army To Be Questioned on Ayotzinapa Disappearances
  • 9 years ago
Mexican authorities have decided to allow the Interdisciplinary Group of Independent Experts to question military officials regarding their alleged involvement in the disappearance of 43 students in the state of Guerrero last September. The announcement was made at a special meeting of the Inter-American Human Rights Commission (IAHRC) in Washington DC amid widespread doubts over the government’s official line. A spokesman for the interdisciplinary group urged the IAHRC not to backtrack on previous findings and to avoid letting them become just another story line. teleSUR
