Shares in the diet company Weight Watchers more than doubled in value on Monday after media mogul Oprah Winfrey announced she was taking a 10% stake in the firm. Winfrey joins the company's board at a difficult time, when it's facing falling revenues and cutting costs. Also today, why Ireland has decided a one-cent coin just isn't worth it.
