NASA has released new, close-up images of Enceladus, one of Saturn’s moons, which were recently taken by the Cassini spacecraft.

New, high-resolution images of one of Saturn’s moons have revealed a surprising landscape.
Instead of the mass of craters that were expected based on previous low-resolution photos, the area around Enceladus’s northern pole appears to be more varied. 
A member of the team responsible for the imaging is quoted in NASA’s press release as saying, “The northern regions are crisscrossed by a spidery network of gossamer-thin cracks that slice through the craters.”
