Baby Orangutan Rescued After Being Left Outside To Die In Cardboard Box

In Indonesia, the U.K.-based International Animal Rescue is treating a nearly five month-old, severely dehydrated and malnourished orangutan who is thought to have been left outside to die in a cardboard box.

A baby orangutan in Indonesia is currently undergoing treatment after being found outside in a cardboard box, presumably left to die. 
In fact, the U.K.-based International Animal Rescue, or IAR, which is overseeing recovery efforts, notes on its Facebook page that this is “one of the most shocking cases of animal cruelty and neglect we have ever seen.”
